Why CE Matters for Gothenburg Importers
Importing home fire safety products into Sweden without proper CE certification exposes your business to:
- Customs rejection at Gothenburg port of entry — leading to costly return or destruction of goods
- Legal liability if an uncertified device fails in a residential fire
- Exclusion from property developer and insurance company supply chains that require CE
- Brand reputation damage in the Sweden market
